Take your football to the next level
There are many academies offering to organize 1 or 2-month trials for players in Europe. However, more than 90% of players don’t end up making it. This is because most of the time football is about creating relationships. That’s why I want players from the age of 9 to 20 (male and female) to come to Spain to train with a Spanish club for a few months. In order to build a strong relationship, we will organize a return trip every year to do a pre-season in Spain for those interested. After 3 years, good relationships with other players and coaches will have developed, creating more opportunities for future careers.
The club in Spain will feel part of the players’ development, meaning that players will receive attentive training sessions in Spain as well as in Australia. Receiving professional feedback from the Spanish coaches will be invaluable, allowing the players to return to Australia one step ahead of the rest.
It is clear to us at Ruiz Academy that taking players overseas just to take part in trials is not the best way to help players. Instead, we want to create a comfortable and happy environment for the players in Spain, where they can greatly improve their skills without feeling under extreme pressure and build quality relationships with the right people. This will give us the opportunity to create players that might make it to a professional level.
To make sure everything goes smoothly, we will have a Ruiz coach in Madrid taking care of the players, the morning training sessions and all communication with Australia. In the afternoons, players will be training with the football club, where 4 coaches will be present at each training session. Furthermore, the club has a analysis coach, physiotherapist, psychologist, and fitness specialist.
It goes without saying, that this time spent abroad will also be an invaluable cultural experience for all players, with the amazing opportunity of learning Spanish.
The cost per player is from €350 per week, which includes the following:
